ABOUT US
History
Painting has always been a part of my life from a young age. I always enjoyed helping my father stain furniture as well as my uncles that worked in the painting industry. This was a common practice for my brother and I every summer break. I love painting because of the transformed look that a freshly painted home expresses.
Passion
This passion led me on a journey of exploring the mysteries of paint. As a result, I embraced the opportunity to be a part of the first artisans that “Segreto Finishes” was forming in its early years. It was a pleasant experience to be a part of such an amazing team but my confused heart guided me to continue my journey for creating beauty outside of the United States.
Fueled by a thirst for knowledge I entered into a Catholic seminary in Canada for a couple years. It was there were I discovered St. Francis and his fundamental truth that anyone who works with their hands and their head is craftsman with the capability of transforming broken nature into beauty.
Evolution
I left the seminary two years later and started a business with my brother with a desire for creating an atmosphere of tranquility and allowing creativity to become the center of our vision. This passion and vision opened a door with Dankers-Domingue to become an intern there. I had the privilege of being an apprentice to the Master of paints and plasters, Eddy Dankers.
Not only was I able to be Eddy’s apprentice but also had the pleasure of working in one of the projects were the globally renowned master of interior design Axel Vervoordt was involved. It is here where I discovered that if we convene the ancient with the present it will leads us to a dimension of elegance and culture.
